This week it seems like there is a lot of craziness. Bombs going off in Boston at the Marathon? An explosion of a fertilizer plant in West, Texas? The injuries this week break my heart. Every one of those people injured or killed has a family. Every one of those people injured or killed has friends and dreams. How lucky are most of us that we weren’t affected. And what are you going to do to help?
Hold your loved ones a little closer tonight. And say extra prayers for the families. Prayer is a powerful thing. Pray for them to find peace and healing. Pray that something good comes of these awful events. And remember, God is always there.
For everyone who is close to one of these travesties, local fire/police departments and hospitals might be looking for donations and may be holding blood drives. Look into that because your assistance may be needed.
